Mercy Health System Selects EDC Client, Geonetric, as Web Partner; Launches New Website
Cedar Rapids, IA - March 12, 2012 - Mercy Health System, Conshohocken, PA, selected Geonetric, an online solutions provider for the healthcare industry, to develop a Web presence for the health system. Geonetric created a new website that engages site visitors and supports the health system's recent strategic rebranding initiative.
"Based on the business goals outlined in the strategic marketing plan, Geonetric worked with us to prioritize our Web strategy and digital marketing objectives before, during and after the site launch," says Gabrielle DeTora, Interim Chief Marketing Officer at Mercy Health System. "The result is a Web presence that supports our organizational goals and meets the needs of our various audiences."
Mercy Health System's site is built on VitalSite, Geonetric's content management system. The site includes a comprehensive provider directory with physician profiles, service directory, location directory, eCards and wellness tools. As a four hospital system, Mercy Health System was able to take advantage of VitalSite's sophisticated workflow capabilities, which allows the organization to share content creation while maintaining control over brand elements.
