Mercy Health System Selects EDC Client, Geonetric, as Web Partner; Launches New Website
Cedar Rapids, IA - March 12, 2012 - Mercy Health System, Conshohocken, PA, selected Geonetric, an online solutions provider for the healthcare industry, to develop a Web presence for the health system. Geonetric created a new website that engages site visitors and supports the health system's recent strategic rebranding initiative.

Mercy Health System's site is built on VitalSite, Geonetric's content management system. The site includes a comprehensive provider directory with physician profiles, service directory, location directory, eCards and wellness tools. As a four hospital system, Mercy Health System was able to take advantage of VitalSite's sophisticated workflow capabilities, which allows the organization to share content creation while maintaining control over brand elements.
With the organization recently undergoing strategic rebranding efforts, it was essential for Mercy Health System to create a consistent online and offline experience for site visitors. Mercy Health System and Geonetric worked together to ensure the new online presence aligns with the organization's marketing strategy and supports its cohesive marketing effort.
Mercy Health System and Geonetric are working on future initiatives which include building a mobile site.
