Two EDC Clients Receive 2010 BRAVO Awards
December 1, 2010—Cedar Rapids, IA—The Entrepreneurial Development Center (EDC), a Cedar Rapids based business accelorator, is pleased to announce that two of its clients have taken home the 2010 BRAVO Award. Bimm Ridder Sportswear and Ovation Networks, Inc., both based in Cedar Rapids, IA, were honored with this award at the annual Good Morning Cedar Rapids breakfast, hosted by the Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce. The BRAVO Award is an annual award given to three local businesses that make an impact and give contribution to the community.
Bimm Ridder Sportswear supplies hats, shirts and other screen imprinted souvenir apparel to professional baseball, hockey, football and basketball teams throughout the country and to three Iowa universities. Gary Ficken, President, accepted the award, “Being a 2010 Bravo Award winner is a tremendous honor for us here at Brimm Ridder Sportswear. I believe our success has come from four principals: Pride, Trust, Longevity and Heroes.”
Ovation Networks provides wireless services for the hospitality industry.
