Successful Open House Marks EDC Client Geonetric's Ten Year Anniversary

Dozens of clients, business colleagues and community leaders joined current employees to celebrate Geonetric's tenth anniversary. To observe this milestone, Geonetric hosted an open house at its facility on Glass Road in Cedar Rapids, IA. Guests enjoyed tours of the building, a company video, and good conversation centered on Geonetric's success. In the last ten years the Cedar Rapids company, which creates online solutions for the healthcare industry, has grown to be home to 63 employees. Geonetric serves more than 20 clients representing nearly 150 hospitals nationwide and holds the honor as one of the best places to work in both the corridor and the healthcare industry.
"We are excited so many friends and colleagues joined us in our celebration," says Eric Engelmann, President and CEO. "Many of our guests witnessed our impressive growth and it was fun to reminisce on just how far this company has come. Since 2000, Geonetric has grown in employees by 377 percent and in revenue by 416 percent."
Engelmann adds, "Our team is always tackling new challenges in healthcare technology and we're continually ensuring our culture attracts the corridor's most talented workers. Not to mention every day we get to come to work and help our clients make it easier for patients to interact with providers. It's a pretty amazing company."
