Entrepreneurial Development Center, Inc., Adds Six Members to Board of Directors
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA—APRIL 2, 2009—The Entrepreneurial Development Center (EDC) is pleased to announce the addition of six new members to its Board of Directors. The new members are: Tom Aller, President of Interstate Power & Light Co.; Al Ruffalo, Founder and CEO of Ruffalo-CODY; Lance Dunn, President of 2nd Story Software; Bruce Lehrman, CEO of Involta; Shannon Meyer, President of the Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, ex-officio; and Pamela York, Director of University of Iowa Research Foundation.
The EDC is a business accelerator based out of Cedar Rapids that assists scalable, interstate commerce businesses at any stage—from start-up to existing business. The EDC has a staff of seasoned business experts to help small business owners with various facets of their business from business planning to the development of exit strategies.
The six new members join the EDC’s 10 existing Board members and will act as a sounding board for the 5-year-old business accelerator.
