Entrepreneurial Development Center Clients Ranked on Inc. Magazines Fastest Growing Private Company List
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA—August 20, 2008—The Entrepreneurial Development Center is pleased to announce that four of its clients ranked on Inc. Magazine’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies List. The list is the most comprehensive look at a vital important segment of the economy—America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. This notable list of clients includes: MobileDemand (Hiawatha), Express Auto Delivery (Cedar Rapids), Geonetric (Cedar Rapids) and TMone (Iowa City).
EDC client MobileDemand was ranked 148th with a three-year growth rate of 1,507 percent. MobileDemand provides rugged mobile computer systems (xTablet Rugged Tablet PC) focused on data collection and field automation. In the computers and electronics category, they ranked as the third fastest growing company in America.
Express Auto Delivery (EAD), a logistics management services in the U.S. automotive vehicle shipping marketplace, was ranked 544 with a three-year growth rate of 595 percent. In the transportation category, they ranked as the seventh fastest growing company in America. EAD dissolved in August partially due to the recent flood in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Cedar Rapids-based Geonetric ranked 1,581 with a three-year growth rate of 239 percent. Geonetric develops web-based software products for the medical industry. In the computers and electronics category they ranked as the thirty-ninth fasted growing company in America.
TMone, an outsourcing firm that focuses on database and customer relationship management was ranked 2,410, with a three-year growth rate of 153 percent.
