EDC Client, Geonetric, Launches New Website for Crozer-Keystone Health System
Cedar Rapids, IA - June 30, 2011 - EDC client, Geonetric, an online solutions provider for the healthcare industry, launched a new website for Crozer-Keystone Health System (Crozer-Keystone) just four months after starting the project. Located minutes from Philadelphia, Crozer-Keystone is a five-hospital health system that provides a full spectrum of wellness, prevention, acute care, rehabilitation and restorative care to its community. Geonetric created a new website for the health system that showcases an eye-catching design backed by impressive functionality.

The new site ensures patients and visitors enjoy a consistent online experience across all of Crozer-Keystone's affiliates, which include a physician network of primary-care and specialty practices and a Healthplex® Sports Club. The site features an innovative design that showcases the health system's high-tech reputation as well as offers enhanced functionality including a provider directory with physician profiles, location and service directories, bill payment, calendar and events registration, donations and wellness tools.
Crozer-Keystone's website is built on the latest version of Geonetric's content management system, VitalSite 6. The VitalSite platform is designed to craft an intuitive experience for site visitors. Being a large health system, Crozer-Keystone was able to take advantage of VitalSite's FlexFilter technology, which allows Crozer-Keystone to present information in multiple ways, showcasing all services and providers at the health system level, or allowing users to drill down to services and providers at the individual facility level.
Geonetric also helped Crozer-Keystone streamline content on the site, removing more than 14,000 pages of content. The restructured content allows site visitors to find information more efficiently and reduces redundant copy, making it easier for administrators to manage content. Geonetric also added analytics to the site, and will help Crozer-Keystone fine-tune content based on user statistics.
Geonetric and Crozer-Keystone are already at work on the second phase of the project, which includes finishing a microsite for the Healthplex® Sports Club.
