EDC Client, Geonetric Clients Receive 13 Awards for Industry-Leading Websites, Mobile Sites and Blogs

NOVEMBER 19, 2011—CEDAR RAPIDS, IA—Geonetric, an online solutions provider for the healthcare industry, continues its trend of developing award-winning websites and patient portals for clients. This fall, ten Geonetric clients have been recognized by five organizations for online excellence, including six awards announced this week at the Greystone Annual Healthcare Internet Conference in Las Vegas, NV.

eHealthcare Leadership Awards
During the awards luncheon at the Healthcare Internet Conference, five Geonetric clients were honored with awards, including: 
• Rush-Copley Medical Center, Aurora, IL, won a gold for best integrated marketing campaign
• Methodist Medical Center of Illinois, Peoria, IL, won two awards; a silver for best overall internet site and a platinum for best quality and safety communication
• Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, IA, received distinction for best interactive site for hospitals with 200-399 beds
• Genesis Health System, Davenport, IA, received distinction for best interactive site for healthcare systems
• Tri-City Medical Center, Oceanside, CA, received distinction for best site design for hospitals with 200-399 beds

The eHealthcare Leadership Awards are sponsored by eHealthcare Strategy & Trends. This awards program recognizes the best websites of healthcare organizations and highlights the Internet's role in achieving an organization's business objectives.

Web Health Awards
The Web Health Awards, now in its 17th year, honors high-quality consumer health information. More than 500 entries were submitted this year, and two Geonetric clients were announced as winners:
• Alexian Brother Health System, Arlington Heights, IL, won a silver award for its interactive content
• Genesis Health System, Davenport, IA, won a merit award for its website
 

The Web Health Awards program is organized by the Health Information Resource Center (HIRC), a national clearinghouse for consumer health professionals who work in consumer health education fields.

MarCom Awards
The winners of the 2010 MarCom Awards competition included three Geonetric's clients: 
• Owensboro Medical Health System, Owensboro, KY, won a gold award for its CEO blog
• Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, Monterey, CA, received honorable mention in the category of home page design
• St. Vincent's HealthCare, Jacksonville, FL, received honorable mention in the category of website interior design

MarCom Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand creative professionals.

W³ Awards
The W³ awards competition announced that Methodist Medical Center of Illinois, Peoria, IL, won a silver award for its mobile website.

The W³ Awards honors creative excellence on the Web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning sites, videos and marketing programs.

WebAwards
The annual WebAwards competition, administered by the Web Marketing Association, announced that Tri-City Medical Center, Oceanside, CA, won an award for healthcare provider standard of excellence.

The WebAward competition sets the standard of excellence for Website development. Independent expert judges from around the world review sites in 96 industries.
